Ellen Corkery-Dooher

    Ellen Corkery-Dooher is a bilingual independent Director with over 10 years Board experience in
    the not for profit and private sectors. Passionate about giving back to children and youth in
    Ottawa, Ellen brings her experience in stakeholder engagement, public policy, workforce
    strategy and service transformation to the YSB of Ottawa. Ellen retired from PwC Canada as a
    partner in June 2023 where she held progressive leadership roles and advised senior
    executives as they tackled complex organizational and operational changes. Her previous
    Board experience includes PwC Canada, Christie Lake Kids and TELCI. Ellen has a bachelor’s
    degree (Honours) in Psychology, and the ICD.D designation having completed the Rotman
    Directors Education Program (DEP). Ellen is candid about living with MS and encourages others
    to show up authentically in their workplace and communities. A recipient of the Women Against
    MS (WAMS) award, she supports fundraising efforts for cancer and MS research and
    programs. Ellen is an enthusiastic e-cyclist, runner, skier and kayaker in her spare time and
    shares this passion for the outdoors with her partner and their nieces and nephews.
