The Youth Ambassador Network is a dynamic group of passionate young leaders from across Ottawa who are committed to creating meaningful change in their community.
As ambassadors, members work together to raise awareness, mobilize their peers, and generate critical support for programs that uplift and empower youth. Through leadership, advocacy, and action, they play a direct role in shaping a stronger, more inclusive future for young people.

Supporting Youth Experiencing Homelessness
Members of the Youth Ambassador Network are deeply committed to addressing youth homelessness in our community.
Through various YSB Foundation campaigns and events, ambassadors help drive initiatives that provide essential resources and support to youth in need. From organizing school-based fundraising efforts to leading donation drives for everyday necessities, their impact is tangible and lasting.
Ambassadors take on meaningful roles such as event leaders, peer mobilizers, and campaign champions, helping to inspire others to take action.
Advancing Youth Mental Health
Mental health affects countless young people, and the Youth Ambassador Network is dedicated to breaking stigma and expanding support.
Members lead awareness campaigns, host school and community events, and create safe spaces for conversations around mental wellness. By combining education with action, ambassadors help ensure more youth know where to turn for help and feel empowered to seek it.
This is youth supporting youth, in the most authentic and impactful way.

Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for motivated high school students who are ready to lead and make an impact. Ideal candidates:
- Can commit to regular meetings and activities
- Are comfortable taking initiative and leading projects
- Have an interest in community engagement, events, or fundraising
- Are passionate about issues affecting youth, including housing and mental health
