At YSB’s downtown Drop-In Centre, the Ottawa Senators Foundation, Bell Let’s Talk, and the Danbe Foundation proudly announced their gift of $500,000 to YSB’s mental health services that will be offered at the new housing project. This 5 year commitment will impact the lives of countless youth who walk through the doors of our new building and reach out for counselling and mental health support.

YSB’s supporters fuel the incredible work we feel privileged to do with and for at-risk young people in our community each and every day.

This morning, community members and YSB partners gathered together to celebrate the announcement of the lead contribution to YSB’s new Youth Housing Hub – a new housing project currently under construction that will offer accessible and affordable housing to homeless and high-risk youth.

This transformative gift is a meaningful example of our partners belief in the resiliency of youth in our community, and a powerful action that will go on to change young lives in Ottawa.

Thank you to the Ottawa Senators Foundation, Bell Let’s Talk and the Danbe Foundation for this tremendously generous support. Hope is a place, and you are helping to build it.
