This year in Ottawa, more than 1400 young people will spend the coldest, darkest, and harshest months of the year with no place to call home. Sadly, the winter months are not the only battle for homeless youth in Ottawa. Many are suffering from trauma, mental health issues, poverty, addiction, and other challenges that contribute to homelessness

Stay Up Ottawa is YSB’s 12th – and final – citywide fundraising event to help house homeless youth and enable them to move forward in their lives with strength and confidence. It takes place November 28th to December 3rd, offers you a choice of how to fundraise and includes a fun in-person celebration for event participants.

From schools to family and workplace teams, Stay Up rallied over 200 community fundraisers who solicited over 900 donations while raising more than $118,000 to-date.

We picked the date for Stay Up 2024: November 28 – December 3.

This year, we wrap up our Stay Up event after 12 successful years. Stay with us, as we continue to fundraise in unique and creative ways to support youth accessing YSB’s shelters and housing buildings.
