Queer Youth Action Committee (QYAC) works in partnership with the Youth Services Bureau, striving to empower young queer and trans people to have a strong and active voice within our community. We create and deliver activities, events, workshops and resources that educate as well as provide a safe(r) space to come together, share, learn, connect and experience a sense of pride within our community. QYAC raises awareness on the issues and needs of 2SLGBTQIA+ youth through advocacy, youth-led education sessions and peer-to-peer outreach. This youth action team keeps 2SLGBTQIA+ issues in the spotlight, contributing to a community environment of acceptance and inclusion for all.
