YSB offers free basic necessities to youth who need food, clothing, shelter and care.
Visit the Downtown Services and Drop-in. We will provide food and clothing, as well as access to medical services, showers, laundry facilities, and more. Staff can also help you find a safe place to spend the night.

These shelters serve young people aged 12 to 20, 365 days a year.
The Transitional Housing program provides eligible youth with semi-independent, supportive, affordable, semi-furnished bachelor apartments for up to one year.
Long-Term Housing Program

The Housing and Trusteeship Program helps youth find and maintain safe housing — we focus on emergency shelter services, but we can help you find longer-term solutions, too.

Our Youth Health Clinic provides easy access to free health care services, such as medical, dental and sexual health clinics at our downtown drop-in. Youth can also get help with mental health issues and addictions.

Ontario has two social assistance programs for people in financial need: Ontario Works and the Ontario Disability Support Program. The Eligibility Estimator is a quick way to find out if you might qualify for one or both of these programs. It takes about 2 - 5 minutes.
