Job seekers looking to learn about careers in the health and wellness industry are encouraged to attend networking fair

Ottawa—August 9th, 2011—YSB Employment Services is hosting a first-of-its-kind Health and Wellness Career and Networking Fair for job seekers in Ottawa. Leading employers will be on hand to talk about emerging job trends, network with potential employers, and hire job seekers.

“As the health and wellness industry continues to grow in leaps and bounds, now is the right time to make those important connections and learn about the industry.” said YSB Employment Services counsellor David Lamarche.

What: Health and Wellness Career and Networking Fair
When: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM - August 11, 2011
Where: Southway Hotel & Conference Centre – 2431 Bank Street, Ottawa

Employment opportunities in the industry are diverse and range from client/patient care, health management, high tech, administrative, and more.

Everyone is encouraged to attend including:

  • new graduates who want to learn about the industry,
  • youth who want to know how to get into the industry,
  • people looking for a second career,
  • those in the industry looking for new challenges,
  • people who just want to learn about the industry and network.
